Preliminary Mortgage Application

This is a leading German bank mortgage specifically for the "non German" market. Mortgages will be evaluated based mainly on the joint income of the applicants using a debt to income ratio of 35%. The % which can be borrowed will likely be in the range 50-60%. To obtain the highest % the property should be newly built or should have been recently renovated to a high standard. The property must be a minimum of 50 sqm (there is a little flexibility with this) and have at least 2 main rooms (i.e. 1 bedroom). The rate will be fixed for a 3-10 year period.
